The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to develop solutions utilizing Blackbaud's enterprise application suite. The .NET Developer must have demonstrated ability to build custom applications from scratch or using an application framework for business needs.

Must have a passion for the customer which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience. Industry knowledge or experience with not for profit organizations is desired but not required .

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Experience leading $1M+ systems integration projects
• Familiar with Use Case Analysis, UML diagramming, Object Oriented Design and Analysis, .Net 2.0, VB.NET or C#, SSIS and SQL Server 2005
• Experience in full life cycle software development using an iterative development approach
• Familiar with the concepts, value, and approaches of Business Intelligence, EAI, Workflow
• Experience with automated testing for both functionality and performance
• Familiar with usability design principles
• Familiar with web services, WSDL, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), XML, XSD
• Experience with designing of applications for deployment in a WAN environment utilizing web services
• Experience estimating and sizing development efforts
• MCSD Preferred
